When I set out to review the Bwarm Massage Candle, I was a bit skeptical. I've tried massage candles in the past and, while I enjoy the wonderful quality massage these products offer, I've found them to be problematic since many of the candles out there have no easy pour method aside from just dumping wax over the edge of a tin or were in over-size "gravy boat" designs that made it difficult to pour out just enough for a massage without drowning your partner in excess wax.
I was delighted to discover that the design of the Bwarm Candle overcomes most of the difficulties I've experienced with other candles. The container itself appears to be some sort of glass or ceramic in the product picture, but is actually soft and pliable, allowing you to squeeze it into a perfect pour spout. The design also allows you to lay the candle on its side and pour just a small amount onto your partner, avoiding the possibility of using too much.
I found the scent of the candle to be really wonderful. I chose to try Rose Patchouli and, though I'm not fond of floral fragrances, really enjoyed this combination. It is floral enough to be feminine but the patchouli gives it a nice, sexy twist. Best of all, the fragrance lingered in my bedroom for days after using the candle, reminding me of the good time recently had.
Massage with the Bwarm was also a wonderful treat. The wax is warm, but not too hot. It has a nice massage consistency that doesn't absorb into the skin too quickly and does not get sticky with use. This is now a Must Have for me!
